That's me!

My name is Manfred. I am from Cologne. Born and raised here and spent my whole life in this city. Just like at least 4 generations of my familiy. Already my grandfather told me stories from the 'old times'. I was always interested in the history of the city and since 2007 I organize guided walking tours with people from all over the world. If you are planning to visit Cologne and if you would like to know a little bit more about your destination contact me and I will entertain you with some stories about the almost 2000 year old city. We are famous for our life style. We like to party, love our beer and the carnival. But we are also proud of our wonderful gothic cathedral, the romanesque churches and the remains of our roman past.

I am married to the best wife in the world. Here name is Paula, she is from the U.S. and helped me a lot to improve my English. We have 3 children and 6 grandchildren and Micky, our dachshund. We are living in the heart of the city and enjoy the everyday bustling life around us.
